Brandon finally had a break after stepping off the stage.Just then,Natalie immediately led him to the fitting room to change into his second outfit.
Compared to the mysterious and noble vibe the first outfit intended to portray,the second outfit, a white suit,had a vibe of purity,portraying Brandon in a different disposition.
Brandon’s character immediately transformed from a royal king to a gentleman.
These were two completely different styles,yet Brandon could pull them off perfectly.Even his cold features appeared softer with the help of the white suit.
Natalie gazed at Brandon from head to toe in admiration.
Brandon raised Natalie’s chin and teased her,”Are you mesmerized by me?”
Suddenly Natalie regained her senses,and her ears turned red as she turned away.”I’m only admiring my designs.They look good on you,”
Brandon smiled and continued teasing,”Did you design them with me in mind?”
He knew the outfits were designed for him the moment he saw them.He had asked her to design clothes for him before,but he didn’t expect her to finish them so soon.She even used the outfits she designed for him to participate in her first competition as an independent designer.
Unable to hide the truth,Natalie nodded shyly and admitted,”Yes …”
Before she could say more,one of the staff knocked on the fitting room door.”Miss White,the next show is about to start.Please hurry up and take your model back to the stage,”the staff reminded
Natalie quickly replied,”Okay,Ill be there in a minute.”
“Okay,please hurry,”urged the staff.
Seeing Natalie’s haggard expression,Brandon felt bad for her and ki*sed her forehead.”You can take a break.I’ll come back and accompany you after l finish the show,”he said gently.
“No,I want to watch you on stage,”Natalie insisted.
She then grabbed Brandon’s sleeve and added, “It’s every designer’s dream to watch their models show off their designs on the runway.”
“Listen to me,okay?”Brandon said as he pinched Natalie’s nose.He then gestured to the big screen and continued,”You can watch the live stream here in the dressing room.It’s all the same.”
Natalie stubbornly held onto him and refused to let go.”It’s not the same.I don’t care.I want to go with you,”she insisted.
Brandon furrowed his brows and said sternly,”If you don’t listen to me,I won’t play nice tonight.” Natalie blushed and reluctantly let go of his hand, muttering,”Fine,I won’t go.”
Brandon looked at her pouting face and chuckled. He ruffled her hair before leaving quickly.
After hesitating for a few seconds,Natalie followed behind him sneakily.
“Ill go even if you don’t let me!”Natalie muttered to herself smugly.
Although she was tired and barely able to balance herself,she still wanted to watch the show by the runway.She wanted to see Brandon walk down the runway and charm everyone off-stage.
The screen was simply inadequate in presenting Brandon’s perfection.
As Brandon stepped onto the runway,Natalie could hear the crowd erupting again with enthusiastic applause and cheers even from the corridor.
Her face lit up as she quickened her pace,hoping to see Brandon’s performance on stage as soon as possible
The louder the cheers grew,the brighter Natalie smiled.
She hurriedly turned a corner and was about to reach the viewing area when someone jumped out of nowhere and grasped her arm tightly.
Natalie was violently yanked backwards.Startled by the unexpected attack,she let out a yell and began thrashing and wriggling in an attempt to escape. As soon as she shouted,however,the unknown assailant behind her covered her mouth and nose with a wet towel.
Natalie struggled even harder,her muffled cries growing more desperate with each passing moment
She wanted to catch a glimpse of her assailant, but they possessed an unbelievable level of strength,quelling all her efforts.No matter how hard she struggled,they exerted complete dominance over her limbs
Her heart pounded in her chest as fear surged through her veins.
Who on earth could this person be?Why did they target her?
Natalie’s mind raced with questions as panic and confusion consumed her.Before she could properly organize her thoughts,she suddenly became disoriented,her strength slowly dwindling until she eventually passed out.
Before completely losing consciousness,however, the last sound she registered was the disdainful sneer of her assailant.
The voice sounded eerily familiar.
As Mandy attentively watched the show unfolding on the stage,she suddenly heard a sharp scream pierce through the air from afar.The voice seemed familiar,but she couldn’t quite place where she’d heard it before.
With a slight frown,Mandy glanced around in confusion,searching for any signs of unusual activity.Everything appeared to be in order, however,with the backstage staff seemingly busy with their various tasks.She gently whispered to herself,”Could I have misheard something?“
“What did you say?”Draco asked,assuming that she was talking to him.
Mandy shook her head dismissively and replied, “Oh,it’s nothing.”
Draco then averted his gaze from her and wondered out loud,”Why hasn’t Natalie arrived yet?” Mandy’s heart skipped a beat as she was struck by a sudden realization-the scream she had heard earlier sounded just like Natalie’s voice.
She turned and cast a glance towards the corner of the corridor,her apprehension evident on her face.”I’m not sure if I heard correctly,but I heard something that sounded like Natalie screaming…It was very brief though.”
“What?!”Draco’s eyes widened in alarm as he processed Mandy’s words.Without wasting a single moment,he swiftly turned and huried towards the corridor.
“Wait!Draco!”Mandy immediately called out, anxious to stop him.”Ill go with you.”
Draco,however,was in too much of a hurry to stop and wait for her.

Glancing at Brandon,who was currently on the runway,Mandy stomped her feet as her anxiety intensified.
After a brief moment of hesitation,she made up her mind and quickly followed in the direction in which Draco had left.
The pair rushed to Natalie’s dressing room.To their surprise,there was no one inside.
Mandy and Draco exchanged worried glances, their eyes conveying the depth of their worry and anxiety
“Did something really happen to Natalie?”Mandy insisted on checking the fitting room,but also found it empty.
“Well?Is anyone there?”Draco asked anxiously. Mandy emerged from the fitting room,wearing a worried look on her face as she shook her head. “It’s empty.”
Draco’s expression grew serious as he came to a chilling realization.”It looks like something really has happened to Natalie.”
Mandy’s face mirrored Draco’s seriousness as she pondered their next steps.”What do we do now? Should we tell Brandon first?”
“It’s probably too late for that,”Draco replied as he shook his head.
“What should we do then?”Mandy was at a complete loss,having never encountered such a situation before.
Draco took a deep breath,trying to steady his racing thoughts,and calmly proposed their next course of action.”Here’s what we’re going to do. Ill go look for Natalie,while you go to the runway and tell Brandon about her disappearance.We’l split up and look for her.”
“But…”Mandy voiced her disagreement.”If Natalie is really missing,it implies that there might be a dangerous person in the venue.It wouldn’t be very smart for us to split up.Acting alone could put us in danger.”
